Shouldn't this issue remain open until it is actually fixed and not just a work order generated?

I agree with you Angel, that's why I was questioning them why it was closed? My guessing that the City of Virginia Beach has a different way in answering back to us citizens.

Jeff, it may be because the City has to request for the original contractor vs in-house forces to correct the problem because it is considered a warranty or latent defect issue. I realize that may take a little time (few weeks) but not months though. If a resident's car gets damaged, VB will be on the hook to fix considering the lengthy delay in repairing. Let's hope for timely action! 🙂
