Landscape Management has investigated your concern and determined the area behind your home is private property. This area could be considered a utility easement, but the easements are still on private property. So, each property owner is responsible for maintaining a portion of this area within their property lines. Since the trees are on private property, your concern will be forwarded to Code Enforcement to investigate. Code Enforcement can be reached at 385-4421.

Code Enforcement Inspectors are not authorized to enter upon private property without permission from the property owner or tenant, and someone must be present to escort the inspector while on the property. Inspectors must view potential code violations from the public right-of-way, or from an adjacent property with permission from the resident.
