    Could the timing of the green light traveling east (towards downtown) on Broadway at 5th be reconsidered. Often there are few cars traveling in this direction while a line of cars waiting to turn left onto the highway or into the tunnel is growing. Thx.

    I got a message that this issue was taken care of. Yesterday I drove through this intersection. I assure you, by the accident I was almost in, it is not. The timing of the lights on Fruitvale is off. The eastbound turns red, letting vehicles turning left time to proceed, but the westbound is still green. Please before someone gets hurt.

    Please consider making the right lane of Park, as it approaches the turn(s) into the South Shore parking lot, "Right Lane Mist Turn Right." This will create clarity amongst drivers that are turning right into the lot, those trying to turn left out of the lot, and those that are continuing on straight. This change could be made at the entrances just passed Walgreen's, and just before Big 5. Thanks.

    Please consider the attached illustration of changes to the Broadway & 8th Street intersection. Currently, 4 lanes of 8th St turn into 3 lanes when thru Broadway, then into 2 because one of them becomes a left turn lane, causing drivers not turning left on Washington to quickly merge right. The lane lines are often ignored or misread resulting in many bear accidents, and merging is not handled well by humans. Please make the following changes to the 8th Street lanes:
    • Lane 1 - Left Turn Only
    • Lanes 2 and 3 - Make theses lanes continue across Broadway, but connect to the lanes directly in front of them
    • Lane 4 - Right Turn Only (Exempting buses that need to be allowed to continue on 8th)
