Try to get car and person descriptions, plus lic plate #'s, w/o putting yourself in any danger.

When you say kids I now know you mean it, in the last few weeks have noticed kids under the age of 15 standing around at the gate in the cold. I'm thinking there could be numerous reasons for this, its when they are giving the eye to every passing car it makes you think they might be standing watch.
How places like this get built on what was a beautiful old street is beyond me. That complex alone has turned that section of Q. Ave into a wasteland of boarded up houses. The fence reminds me of a prison.

I would like to re-open this, as there is still an ongoing drug problem at 1425/1423 Quinnipiac Ave. from the New Haven Housing Authority, with 1378 Quinnipiac Ave, St Anthony 1&2, and Trinity Management Company on 1435 Quinnipiac Ave. Since the City and the New Haven Police Department have failed to take any action on this since 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and now 2014. We are hoping, but not holding our breath. This should be reopened!!

I have re-opened posts as well as created new "issues". It is insulting that the City of New Haven, Mayors office and NHPD have ignored the narcotics issues and quality of life surronding the properties of New Haven Housing authority, Saint Anthony 1&2 and Q Ridge as well as the city owned rowe houses which drugs are being sold out of. It's like being a prisoner in your own home. Within 38 days, this community had 3 homicides. This district has never had such an increase of murders, violence and drugs since the housing authority built projects all around this area. In the next few months you will see many more members being more active, such as setting websites, facebook pages, and youtube videos, as well to fundraise for a legal fund to fight New Haven Housing Authority and the City of New Haven.

Economic Opportunity, this community from Glen Haven to Quinnipiac Ave to Eastern and everything else in between have contacted Chief Esserman, District Managers, and Housing Authority. I am not the only one in this community that strongly believes that the Housing Authority is the main cause of the narcotics trade and the numerous quality of life issues that the Quinnipiac East Shore has. You’re absolutely right when you say its "dangerous" when the Housing Authority builds projects around privately owned condos and homes. Projects, of which drugs are being sold out of, use of intimidation by the drug dealers and the HANH residents. It's dangerous for the Ross Woodward and Bishop Woods school children to be within feet of multiple drug transactions on HANH's properties. The NHPD has known about this for YEARS. It's dangerous for the home owners to see their private properties being vandalized by juveniles who live at Trinity and HANH. When the home owner asks them to stop the vandalism, and calls the police, they are met with a crowd of angry relatives on the home owner’s private property starting a confrontation. It's dangerous for the home owners to find narcotic packaging, soiled condoms, littering which always includes broken alcohol bottles on their property every day, all of which come from HANH's residents. It's dangerous for the residents to have three unsolved murders, Deveron McLaughlin, Javier Martinez, and Durell Law all down the street or directly across from HANH’s properties. When you spoke of good economic opportunies, were you speaking of Karen DuBois-Walton $172,276 or Jim Miller’s $170,708 tax payer paid salaries, totaling over a quarter of a million dollars (not including the salaries of those in the executive offices)? You should tour the properties of these neighborhoods and see for yourself how HANH destroys them.
