The traffic light at the intersection of Kings Grant Rd and N. Lynnhaven Rd is not operating as in the past. It formerly changed the light for approaching traffic and ended the cycle when no cars where present. Now the light cycles as if is only on a timer and maintains a green signal when there are no cars in or approaching the intersection, The wait for a green light when there are no other cars present is much longer than in the past.

It's been three months since this was reported and nothing has changed. The traffic light cycles through each of the four roadways entering the intersection whether there are any vehicles present or not. The traffic sensors are not controlling the light. At night, a driver can wait for several minutes while the light makes its rounds even though there is not another car in sight.
