The storm drain issue reported earlier and assigned service request 91504011 is still a problem. The flooding from the afternoon storm has progressed across my entire backyard. Has any action been taken on the service request?

Concurring with report of flooding (AGAIN!) due to storm drain not working - PLEASE RESOLVE!

This photo was taken yesterday afternoon, 5/17/18, and depicts the flooding in the backyard of 2108 Oaklawn Ct.

This is the same issue that was reported 10/26/17 and assigned service request 91486086.

This photo was taken from the back yard of 2104 Oaklawn Ct at 6:32PM, 5/17/18, yesterday evening, several hours after the rain had stopped.

The City of Virginia Beach has resolved this issue.

Can you please specify what was done to resolve this issue?

The service requests were created to clean and flush the storm drainage pipes and structures that are in the public right-of-way and receive public water. Any area that is conveying private storm water is the homeowner’s responsibility. If you have any additional questions or if you feel the storm drainage pipe are in need of another clean and flush, please give us a call at 757-385-1470 to submit a service request.
