Thanks for the response. I believe there is a left turn arrow in service for the north bound traffic leaving Country Club turning west toward Eastlink at this intersection. Why couldn't the eastbound arrow be in service during the same interval to accommodate the southbound turning east traffic?

Thank you for your reply. There a Left turn signal for Northbound traffic here, and if it is warranted we will be able to activate the Southbound signal simultaneously. However, if traffic is able to complete the SB turn on the solid green, we reduce delay for the Northbound straight through movement.

Thank you for your reply. I believe, and I'm sure that I'm not alone here, that it is warranted to activate the southbound left turn signal simultaneously with the northbound left turn signal. From my experience and as I have said all along, there is an "unnecessary" wait for the southbound traffic to make the left turn after all of the northbound traffic has come through on the solid green. Very few vehicles have time to make the turn before the lights change and it does cause a backup.
I am not quite sure why it is more important that the northbound traffic is uninhibited during the short time that this left turn signal would be activated.

There is an ebb and flow throughout the day equal to the northbound traffic, however during morning, noon, after school and normal after work hours is where the issue is most prevalent.
