Deskripsyon

The speed limit on the Rt. 50 arterial is too fast. This is the reason there are so many accidents. Slow the speed, and people won't be so eager to blow through the red lights. That road is not capable of handling high speed traffic. 45 is the current speed limit but 50 to 55 is the average.

Slow it down to 35 and it'll be a much safer route.

If you can't handle the 45-55mph speed limit on the arterial use the back roads...cars aren't the only vehicles using the arterial 35 won't make you stop playing "beat the bus" or "truck" when you slow us down.

The speed limit is fine. Lowering the limit and impeding everyone is not the answer to bad drivers.

The Arterial (Rte. 50/ C.V. Whitney Memorial Highway) is designated as a HIGHWAY therefore the current speed limit is reasonably set. People just need to learn to drive more carefully and follow/RESPECT the rules of the road. Which includes not playing beat the bus or beat the truck. ALSO STOP TALKING ON YOUR PHONES &/OR TEXTING WHILE DRIVING!!!
