I agree that this light is worthless. In fact, I see many people just wait a minute before blowing through it later at night. There's no need for it to be so long.

I completely disagree--I live less than a block away and here about 1 major car crash at night every month. There was one a couple nights ago. To deal with the wait times, the intersection could be managed with weight sensors instead of the automatic schedule it's on.

Case Noted. Once a traffic signal is in place it is very difficult to remove.
