Thank you for reporting the site to the Town. We will be dispatching our inspector to the site to evaluate the sidewalk. Please allow us up to two weeks to conduct the inspection.

Can you please provide the specific addresses that you are requesting so we can identify them during our inspection.

Concrete aprons are a separate construction crew than paving so the lead time is likely much longer.

Thanks for getting back to me. The two aprons requiring attention are at 19 Armory St. and 31 Armory St. I understand that concrete aprons are a different matter from asphalt paving, however it seems to me it would be preferable to install the new aprons prior to re=paving, rather than have to dig up and patch a newly paved road.

Our apron, at 31 Armory, needs particular attention because it has sunk approximately 4 inches below the street level and, therefore provides no lip to pave up to.

I commented on this in a ClickFix note on October 4, 2019, hoping to give the town enough lead time.

I hope some action can be expedited to address this.

The Town is pursuing a grant for much more work to be done on the road but due to the terrible pavement conditions, the decision was made to pave the road sooner in anticipation of more work to be done later.

We would have to come back after the paving to do any apron repairs. Our sidewalk contractors are starting to conduct work at other locations. We triage our work based on available funds and severity of the conditions.
