And here we go again! 3 cars going the wrong way down our one way street in 1 hour. Public safety at risk with on going problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Striping plan has been approved and has been sent to the Maintenance group to perform the work.

They are trying to get all striping work done before the wet weather sets in, so hopefully in the next 2 weeks they will be out to do the striping.

Traffic continues to enter from the wrong direction with excessive speed! Amazon delivery seems to be blind to the fact it's ONE WAY! We have had great weather, I can't see any reason this project is being delayed.

Well the confusion continues, this weekend ( 3 days) an estate has drawn large numbers of people to the neighborhood! too many to count driving the wrong way on both one way streets resulting in cars meeting head to head and no way to turn around on the narrow streets!!!!! With no side walks we walk in the street expecting traffic to come in the correct direction! Being that Mountain View is a curvy street with blind spots wrong way traffic is very dangerous. Please address this on going problem in the interest of public safety!

Unfortunately with the length of this year's rainy season, all striping/paint work has been significantly delayed.

The pavement needs to be completely dry in order to place striping on the roadway, I will see what I can do to get this work done as soon as possible.

With the recent and on going work to upgrade the water main all street markings have been destroyed! Heavy equipment often blocks the small one way sign on one end of the street and overgrown tree branches obscure the sign at north end. Please push this project to the front, now that school is out safety is more important than in past months

361 days with nothing but lip service from the city of Vallejo! Right now there is a vehicle parked facing the wrong way which means it entered and travelled a one way street in the opposite direction. Please step up and do something positive for a change!

I will check with Maintenance staff on when the work will be completed. Unfortunately staffing in this section has gone from 7 to 2, which has created a long wait for new signs/markings work in the city.

I will update when I get an estimated date.

Well finally some action was taken to improve the situation with wrong way driving ! Unfortunately it obviously isn't clear to all drivers as cars are still entering the north end of the road going the wrong way. Please add additional markings ( directional arrow) or something to make it clear that the street is one way. We appreciate the fact that the city responded, but just take it a little further. Looks like this was completed, thank you! Unfortunately that you painted over the street that's crumbling. Also noticed the "25" on the streets are still faded out. Will those get painted over again?

Guess what happened Saturday 2/20/21 ? A busy day in the neighborhood resulted in 2 wrong way drivers meeting 2 right way drivers in the middle of the block! No room on our narrow street for the cars to pass, difficult to back up to a clear spot! After a boat load of horn honking and F-bombs residents did damage control and resolved the standoff! I feel like I'm whipping a dead horse here, with dry weather ahead of us please repaint the one way markings that were comprised by water main replacement project.
