说明
Thanks to the genius of the Intermodal Triangle TIGER nonsense combined with the ongoing Corning Fountain issues, pedestrians are basically forced to take detours or walk through the grass, which is fine except for when everything is a mud pit and you're walking to work, trying not to trash your clothing en route.
For those who aren't putting 2 + 2 together: Corning Fountain has been leaking for awhile, making the sidewalk in front of it impassable some days. The ridiculous Bushnell North construction has closed off several entrance/exits to the park, making a sensible detour around the sidewalk pond no longer an option.
Whoever was responsible for deciding to start digging in the Fall, leave a mess all winter, and be completely non-strategic about this should never work in Hartford again.

Hold up -- so people complain that the Intermodal Triangle construction along Central Row is disrupting motorists during rush hour and that comes to a halt, but pedestrians are inconvenienced for months and the reaction is "Meh, we don't need to make any changes?"
Seems like Hartford is still just entering the mid-twentieth century.
