These signs have been popping up all over the neighborhood. I have removed most of them. This one is too high for one to reach. Please refer to City of Richmond ordinance: This one is owed by TSI Properties

I'm opening this issue again, the sign is still there.

I formerly sat on the Mayor's Clean City Commission & attempted to have violators like these fined the Code's mandated fine of $50/day per sign after being given 48 hours to remove the signs. I was told by the CAO's office to bill them myself - believe it or not. The city has no mechanism to remove & fine offenders. The City of Richmond could find quite a revenue stream if they actually enforced this code.

They do have a way. They assigned work order to the issue to someone at DPW, who will come out with someone from Code Endorcement, he/she will verify if in violation if so then send the violation the owner of the number on the sign. I was able to find the owner within 3 minutes of this sign. This is not a matter of "can" the city do something it is matter of "will" they do anything. The City chooses not do anything.
