My name is Sean Robertson and I'm a co-coordinator of the community garden on the lot directly adjacent to this 10' paper alley. It was former neighbors who dumped junk on that space, but the gardeners would be glad to help clear it out of the way as part of our fall work day and clean up. Of course that won't help level it and make it suitable for regular vehicular use. If the city does plan to pave or otherwise improve the alley, I'd be glad to coordinate to minimize impacts on the garden (which was carefully mapped out to avoid the disused right of way). Hi Sean - hopefully i didn't imply I had any issues with the garden, I don't, I think it is great. It completely fits within the plans. My hope is the city can just create the designated alley that is supposed to be there, the ten feet from the garden plots to the back of our property lines. Once 213 17th is finished, I fear I will not be able to use my garage for a car and be landlocked. As it is, I am struggling to get in and out of my garage with all the dirt and the trucks and because the actual alleyway is vegetation and tons junk. I hope the city can even that area down and either pave or put down stone chippings.

One of the neighbours has decided to build her fence all the way out to her property line- she had surveyors out today. With this I will be blocked in unless the city cleans up the ally.
