Transportation or Parking Improvement Request Acknowledged62 Loomis St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
So, it seems to me like a bit of a cop out in Issue ID 12511903 to just state "The two streets in question that meet at Loomis St. don't have stop signs because an ordinance for them has not been created. Until one has been issued we can not install them." and then simply close the ticket and give no feedback on how to make that happen or, ideally, a statement that you've set the process in motion.
So, here, officially, I am asking you to get the requisite bureaucracy completed to install stop signs at this intersection so that we can get on with keeping people using our streets safer without further delay.
I also ask that in the future rather than dismissing valid requests on technicalities and dropping it that you instead help folks find the right paths to get their requests serviced rather than allowing dangerous situations to linger.

Sweeping Needed ArchivedRiverside Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricOn street bike lanes on Riverside Ave are filled with gravel, silt, garbage, and other assorted detritus. Please sweep them so that people riding bikes don't have to choose between using the full general purpose lane or risking a crash due to hazardous bike lane conditions.
