Requesting a shade for newly installed alley street light. Creates unnecessary light pollution to adjacent yards.

Suggestion: If a shade is not available, I would not be opposed to re-position lamp to direct light on yard and driveway of 4007 Hermtage Rd residence and the alley directly behind 4007 said property.

Seems like it creates a safer area with the light covering a number of yards.This is typically the idea behind security lighting.

All adjoining yards are equipped with motion sensing flood lights to light their property as needed and as they see fit. The shade would focus the light down onto the alleyway where constant light was requested.
