The issue is that accidents or near accidents keep occurring at the exit point of the parking lot because you cannot see the oncoming traffic without pulling out in such a way that leaves the front of a car sticking out in the lane of traffic.

Are there trees blocking the view or the sign? I'm trying to get information so I can send to the correct department.

The overall parking lot/ intersection design is terrible, but there is also overgrown trees.

Please contact our Traffic Engineering Department 757.385.4131. This department makes the decision about traffic pattern changes. If changes can be made it will not happen right away. There is a lot of research when changing traffic patterns and they must meet the state and federal guidelines. If the department does not answer the phone, please leave a detail message and they will return your call. Some of our staff are still working from home because of the virus.
