When did City Circle become the local swap meet?? Between couches, trash in our streets and local run down retail building, graffiti and the homeless, were looking pretty trashy as a city. Take pride in heart of Corona.... ☹️Lets make City Circle a place people adore.

I agree, i am disgusted by the constant littering. You can tell these dirtbags got fast food, ate it in their car and then just opened their door and dumped all the trash on street. Iam also REALLY tired of the dumb fool who races around Grand. I have a brick with his name on it

I agree! So tired of loud mufflers and street racing. What happen to days when drivers got tickets for this kind of behavior. And why doesn’t code enforcement penalizing commercial property owners for not taking care of their buildings. Has anyone noticed cars parking on sidewalks and lawns!The city could make a good amount of change if they enforced their own laws.

Downtown Tool Guy I usually ignore ignorant comments, but how about you give these garage sale people your address and let them set up shop in front of your home/condo/or cardboard box where you live? Maybe they might cut you in a little bit on their profit :) My fellow neighbors I urged you to continue to complain to the city officials. The city only permits these residents 3 garage sales per year and you must apply for a permit (which they never do). Grand Blvd is a busy street and these residents are being paid by an outside vendor to use their home to pedal their garbage. I tired of looking at this garbage.

How do you guys know that they dont have a permit? If they dont then I agree they should get fined.

You’re only allowed three yard sales per year in Corona (Municipal Code 5.44.010). This is probably their third one this month. They do that as a business. On occasion they are out there selling used work out equipment. Not one or two pieces but like nine or ten.

Hi Markde, I know because I called to confirm it through code enforcement. Anyone can call code enforcement at (951) 739-4979 with the address and inquire in regards to whether or not permits were pulled. It’s very inexpensive to get a permit through the city ($10 or $15 dollars). But they don’t get permits because that would mean they could only have 3 per year and the city would be keeping count.

I also wanted to mention that another problem is that these garage sales are happening when code enforcement is closed. Go to the city website and they tell you to contact the police department for illegal garage sales, which I believe is total waste of our officers times. I would much rather the police department continue to respond to actual emergencies. This really need to fall on code enforcement, not the police.

The total disregard and lack of pride - littering, loud mufflers, racing, running stop lights, code enforcement violations, graffiti, crime, it all goes hand in hand. CPD please help before Corona becomes a complete slum.
