Deskripsyon

Whitney avenue is supposed to be for cyclists as well as for drivers, but it feels very unsafe as soon as you cross from New Haven into Hamden. Could the poor condition sidewalk around the resevoir be converted into a bike path?

I ride that section of Whitney every day and it's not that bad, just don't be afraid to assert your self in traffic.
And make sure you have good lights at night. I've seen a few cyclists on whitney who were almost invisible.

Bicycles belong in the street, NOT on the sidewalk. It's the law.
