It's amazing how many posts are on here about speeding and aggressive driving throughout the city, yet the Saratoga Springs Police never seem to have anyone pulled over! Give me that little speed detector and I'll happily do your job for you.....WAKE UP SARATOGA SPRINGS POLICE! Is it going to take the death of an innocent child, like what happened in Troy last night, before they will address the very major, very dangerous issue of SPEEDING??? I can't stand it anymore! I called them on Friday about my own street, Jefferson, which I posted on here almost a year ago. It just falls on deaf ears. They just don't seem to care about the well-being of their residents. More concerned about keeping tourists happy maybe?!?!

I've noticed 30mph speed limit signs up, but where are Saratoga city police? Let's nail the culprits, city large vehicles, cdta, school buses, truck drivers, motorcycles....come on city of Saratoga police...are u really more concerned with some driver not putting a turn signal on at least 100 ft from the turn corner...give the town residents a break....and some quiet roads....thanks

We need revenue... Let the city drivers have it taken from their pay checks that our tax dollars pay for

this is not been completely fixed. two 30 mph signs put up in both directions, one is blocked by tree and cannot be seen until 20 feet before the sign and the other is in view however not in a good location. there should be signs at the beginning of the strip in the middle an the end on both sides of the road. and enforcement should be regulating the zone for speeders which are mostly trucks at all hours of the night, mostly between 2:30 am and 9:30 am... thank you.

where are the saratog police???? speeding is an issue at all hours of the night. school buses, cdta buses, motorcycles.....trucks hit bumps while speeding....we have our own earthquakes here in saratoga springs!!!! doesn't anyone obey city laws anymore????

house vibrations from speeding trucks and the shifing and braking.. this morning a truck was speeding at least 70 mph..he couldn't stop to make right turn toward Rt 9 he so he continued straight. The point I am making here is the disturbance of homeowners, safety issues, house vibrations...THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!!

AND WHO HAS SEEN THIS COMPLAINT?
THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A CITY,
GIVE TICKETS FOR FORGETTING TO PUT ON A TURN SIGNAL,
BUT OVERLOOK 60-90 MPH SPEEDS ON A 30 MPH ZONE.
AT 3 AM TO 7 AM...
NOT ONE VEHICLE SHOWING RESPECT FOR THE LAW
OR THE LAW ENFORCING RESPECT FOR THE HOMEOWNERS
AND THEIR COMPLAINTS
EVEN SCHOOL BUSES SPEEDING????? CITY VEHICLES???

i recently had a lawn decoration placed on the front of my property by the city of saratoga springs...for two weeks the traffic would see that they were speeding and slowed down to the flashing MPH posted until they reached 30 MPH..then as soon as they passed my new lawn decoration they sped up again....and of course the traffic coming on frin the opposite direction was speeding 40-60 maybe even more than that. I didn't see one car being pulled over...for speeding...my question...what did this monstracity of a machine do to satisfy the complaint of speeders....
In addition I was crossing the street on Ballston Avenue, no cars in range, then a car began speeding toward , I didn't know what to do, because the car was driving wrecklessly from one lane into the turn lane....i froze and the car kept going...turned into the parking lot of TAFTS and parked...When i approached the woman driver, i said you almost hit me and frightened me...she said i should have been in a cross walk....well there aren't any, are there and what ever happened to the law, stopping for pedestrians ????
It has really gotten out of hand here in Saratoga springs NY.....

the situation is worse than ever... trucks speeding at all hours of the night.. skidding on ice, braking so hard the houses are shaking....
I would like to see more enforcement as well as more 30mph signs posted and violators will be prosecuted.
Our sweet town, is being bullied by these huge vehicles ~~ city vehicles, cars, buses, all traffic going over the speed limit.. LET'S GET SERIOUS... STOP THE SPEEDING!
ON BALLSTON AVENUE AS WELL AS ALL OTHER STREET WITHIN CITY LIMITS....

more and more traffic, more and more speeding... accidents on roads more than ever!, drivers using cell phones while driving, what can be done? Add more SSPD cars to the roads, issue tickets for speeding and focus on the issue. Maybe this town will slow down a bit for the locals. Because it's the locals causing the problems and the TRUCKS...

still no relief in speeding.... WE NEED ADDITIONAL 30MPH SIGNS!!! There are no crosswalks, a driver almost hit me while crossing the road. Trucks speeding like they are on the Northway. This is a City with regulations that are not law enforced. We need to slow down the drivers on Ballston Avenue (Route 50). The worst speeding time is 2 am to 6 am. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!!!

In addition when these speeding vehicles tread over broken asphalt the noise is horrendous! The city must do something! Thank you.
