There have been two Coyote sightings within the past week inside the Harbour Landing Complex. Many people have small dogs in this area. Is this something that the city handles? Perhaps trapping and relocating?

People should leash their dogs at all times during walks and supervise when they are in their own yard . Cats should be kept indoors. There are no services to relocate or trap Coyotes. DEEP Officers will respond if a coyote has shown signs of being threat to people by being aggressive or overly friendly (which poses a threat). There are no rehablilitative or relocation services for Coyotes. Coyotes live throughòut the city and rarely will approach people .
