Deskripsyon

While traveling east on High St. it's difficult to see oncoming traffic when trying to make a left on Grosstown Rd. I heard from a resident of W. Vine that once a week she hears the sound of screeching brakes at this intersection. Very dangerous intersection !!

I completely agree with you Jay!!! Recently I was going to make a left turn onto Grosstown Rd and nearly ended up in a head on collision. There was a car waiting to make a left going towards Turkey Hill on Grosstown and no traffic in the lane besides him. So I go to make my left and suddenly the driver that was stuck waiting behind him thought it would be a good idea to go around him and floor it as I'm making my turn. I barely avoided that driver hitting me by smashing my gas pedal to the floor. ANOTHER reason to put a turn arrow at the intersection is because when someone is making the same turn I just spoke of you can't see the traffic coming up the adjacent lane when you're trying to turn. I believe that is the problem that you're referring to. So there are MANY reasons to put the turn arrow in there countless accidents could have been avoided at the intersection!!!!

YES!! An arrow is needed, but also driver's need to stop being so impatient also. If you are turning there are other drivers who have the right of way. Hitting the gas to TRY to get thru isn't always going to work...

Something needs to be done. It is usually very dangerous when you make a left turn from either direction. Until a Left turn arrow is installed please be very careful when making a Left turn from either direction. What I do if traveling westbound, and want to go into Turkey Hill for gas , I go past the intersection and go up to the first driveway entrance. At that point you can see what;s coming and safely make your left turn.

It's been over 4 years since this hazard was brought up,how long does it take to install a turn arrow ??
