I live on Meadow Lake road in Laurel Cove and our road was just milled by Virginia Paving. Problem is we have a utility force main and water service replacement project taking place sometime after first of the year. Does the city plan to leave our road unpaved until the project takes place? seems like a long time to leave a roadway subject to the elements of winter weather and poor drainage. Also we don't want our newly paved road to be cut up and patched if it is paved before the project takes place. Whats the plan moving forward?
