Brummel is one-way away from Custer on both sides, so cars can't enter this intersection. The only conflicts are with pedestrians, and there isn't enough pedestrian traffic to justify stopping Custer. Furthermore, it isn't even hard to cross Custer. Why cause everyone needless delay? Remove the stop signs.
