  • 1150 Chicago Ave Evanston, IL - Evanston
The bottom of the southbound R1-5b sign should be mounted 7 feet above the sidewalk to be MUTCD and ADA compliant. Many other similar signs around the city are also too low, making them hard to see behind parked vehicles.
  • 700 724 Brummel St Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
Brummel is one-way away from Custer on both sides, so cars can't enter this intersection. The only conflicts are with pedestrians, and there isn't enough pedestrian traffic to justify stopping Custer. Furthermore, it isn't even hard to cross Custer. Why cause everyone needless delay? Remove the stop signs.
  • 1117 Forest Ave Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
Too many stop signs on Forest are compromising the use of the street as a through route, causing congestion, and generating more traffic on parallel routes. There is very little cross-traffic, auto or pedestrian, on Greenleaf or Forest. Stop signs are costing the public time and money in terms of delay, fuel waste, and increase emissions with almost no benefit for cross-streets. Remove the unwarranted stop signs.
  • 1046 W North Shore Ave Chicago, IL 60626, USA - Chicago Ward 49
I think you should build a new segment of the Lakefront Path from Albion to Pratt to connect from Loyola to the existing paths in Loyola Park.
  • Repave Damen Ave Archiviert
    7150-7198 N Damen Ave Chicago, IL 60626, USA - Chicago Ward 49
Pavement condition on Damen between Rogers and Lunt is very poor, needs to be repaved.
  • 701 Washington St Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
There is a small bicycle rack on Washington Street, but it fills up quickly. Bicycles are frequently locked to every parking meter and various street signs on Washington from Chicago to Custer. I recommend removing one on-street car parking space and installing approximately 20 on-street bike parking spaces. Something like this would be good:

  • 1607 Maple Ave Evanston, IL 60201, USA - Evanston
There is no seating available on the platforms of the Davis Street Metra Station. Customers sit on concrete canopy base supports due to lack of comfortable options. Would it be so hard to install some benches?
  • Pothole in Alley Archiviert
803 Ridge Ave Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
There is a large pothole in this alley. I would like to see it filled.
  • 857 899 Custer Ave Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
There is only one bench available on the platforms at the Main Street Metra station and it's on the outbound side. There is seating available inside the station on the inbound side, but only when the station is open. It would be nice to have some seating available for other times.
  • 817 855 Custer Ave Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
Plants are growing the through the fence and reducing the effective width of the already too narrow stairs at the southwest access to the Metra Main Street outbound platform. Plants should be trimmed.
  • 1343 W Granville Ave Chicago, IL 60660, USA - Chicago Ward 48
Granville is is poor condition from Broadway to Clark. Resurfacing is needed. This is a busy bike route.
  • N Sacramento Ave Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
It is extremely difficult to exit the Target parking lot onto Howard Street. I think a traffic study would likely find that a new signal is warranted at the intersection of Howard & Sacramento.
  • 2201 2359 W Howard St Chicago, IL 60645, USA - Evanston
There are large bushes on this corner that restrict the visibility of traffic on Howard Street for cars exiting the shopping center. The bushes should be removed from the corner.
  • Broken Sidewalks Archiviert
801 Madison St Evanston, IL 60202, USA - Evanston
Sidewalks are in very poor condition and need to be replaced. It is difficult to traverse with a stroller.
