Your concern has been assigned to our Development Engineer supervisor. The city has very limited authority to control dust, but they will look in to it.

Its part of the citys settlement with this development that there be dust control. Why is it not being enforced?

Dust control was part of the settlement the city agreed to with the property developer. This could become a health issue for nearby residents.

Development Engineering staff and others are monitoring the project and will be working with the project proponents to ensure that all activities are in compliance with the project approvals.

Workers on the development continuing with tractor work kicking up so much dust you cant see 10 feet in front of you. They are wearing masks in order to work yet no measures to protect neighbors. Neighbors getting sick due to the dust, thick dust settling on plants and suffocating them, and can no longer have windows open because city wont enforce their own rules. Can provide photos and video.

This request is being closed as the current status of the site and weather conditions have eliminated the situation originally identified. If new concerns regarding the site are noted, please open a new request.
