I would like to cut a few limbs off a city owned tree in front of my house, 75 Russell Street. These limbs are dead and appear to be at risk of falling. I requested that the tree warden look at the tree a few months ago and left a message with no response or reply yet. Please advise on how I may go about getting permission to do this.

Thank you for submitting your issue report to Hamden Public Works. In an effort to improve tree maintenance operations in Hamden, the Town has hired a new Superintendent of Trees and is closing out issue reports submitted prior to 2021 that still remain in the See Click Fix system. If your issue still exists or remains a problem, please re-open your issue with a new comment within the next 7 days or you will be required to resubmit your issue as a new report. Please call Hamden PW at 203-287-2600 with questions.

The stump has been documented for grinding. Thank you for patience.
