Like I said concerning previous complaints of parking in bike lanes on Sundays; the city( parking enforcement & police) has always ignored illegal parking if it's near a church. This practice has gone on for at least the 25 yrs. I have lived in the Logan Circle area. The church goers park on crosswalks, posted "no parking" areas and now bike lanes. Good luck in trying to get them ticketed.

For Sunday enforcement call DC Police (911) to report it. They will ticket when parked illegally. (311 will not respond in a timely enough manner since will got to DCRA enforcement on Monday.).

That is useful info to know, dchome. another idea that may help: i noticed you reported this is a "bicycles" issue. i find i get better results if i choose another category that has better responses. for this kind of situation i would choose "parking enforcement" and then find the appropriate sub category like "bike lane" or "no parking zone"

another idea is that i notice that MPD responds within a few hours to these issues. so perhaps you can report it a few hours before it happens (THOUGHT CRIME!!) and by the time MPD arrives the cars will be parked in the bike lane.
