It has been 90 days and nothing has been done about this. Who is the person collecting a salary and has the power to see that this gets fixed? Can someone please notify the Sanitation Department, the Health Department, Building Safety and Zoning Department and the County Commissioner? Please and thank you.

More trash has been dumped. Can someone please notify the property owner? Or have the county do the cleanup and put a lien on the property? To have an issue this large go uncorrected is irresponsible.

There is road work being done on Chevis Rd. The R. B. Baker Construction company decided to park some of their large work vehicles on this property. They shoved the debris out of their way so they could park. Seriously people!!! Can someone please get the owners of this property to take responsibility? County Commissioner, please take a look. Health Department, please take a look. Code Compliance Department, please take a look. There are two 'homes' on the property and they are not locked and secure. There are weeds and weedy trees taller than the average person being allowed to spread and grow in what used to be a lawn.

Over 200 days and still nothing has been done. Why? Please, someone, take action. Thank you.

Hey, SeeClickFix, this issue has not yet been resolved. If you can get a street light fixed, pick up a dead animal, fix a pothole, and do all the other things that have been reported, why has this mess not been cleaned up??? Over 240 days already and no results from Chatham County. This property is a huge mess, vegetation overgrown (like a small forest now!), is being used as a trash dump, has 2 unsecured buildings, and is owned by someone. Please clean this mess and put a lien on the property. Someone??? Anyone??? If this property was across the street from the mayor of Savannah, I'll bet it would have been taken care of by now.

This issue has not yet been resolved. It's a total shame that it took you over 200 to inform me that it's a Building Safety & Regulatory Issue. I will leave this open so the neighbors can keep up to date.

It doesn't matter to me which department or agency is responsible. Someone please, please...come out of your office, bring a clipboard and a camera and investigate this entire property. I've reported this many times and nothing has been done. Oh, and the property next to this was broken into and damage was done. Vacant properties are a danger to everyone in the area. This has not been fixed. Plus...now the weeds in their ditch area along Chevis Rd are getting tall and will cause a traffic problem for anyone exiting the driveway of the adjacent property. The county has already cut the weeds in the other ditches but left this one untouched. Hmmm, very strange.

Please leave this open until somebody passes the buck to the correct person or agency, someone who will take action and correct this mess.

And now the weeds are growing so tall on the Chevis Road part of the property that visibility is reduced for people exiting driveways. Has anyone checked the property? The houses? The fallen trees? The downed utility pole? The illegally dumped trash? The tires and containers that collect rainwater which allows mosquitoes to breed?

There is a part of this issue being largely ignored by Chatham County and that is the weeds growing in the ditch along the Chevis Rd side of this property. The County workers came by with mowers and weed whackers and cut all the other ditches but skipped this one. Why? Please leave this issue open. County Commissioner, please take notice. Ditch-cleaning crew, please take notice.

These properties are still a mess. There has been more illegal dumping.

The trash has not been removed. More trash continues to pile up. Someone placed stack of tires (see photo); perhaps this is their effort to stop new trash from being dumped? Tires accumulate rainwater which allows mosquitoes to breed. Someone owns this property but are not taking care of it. Please, can someone call the right department to get this cleaned up???

There has been some effort to clean the property but it still looks like an overgrown jungle of invasive weed trees, trash, etc.

Over 630 days and the property is still in bad shape. Some work has been done but there is a ton more work needed. There are two unsecured homes inviting criminals. Trespassers are going through the homes looking to steal. Trash continues to be dumped. Can someone please notify the County Commissioner for this area and see if he can get something accomplished? Is anyone listening???

Some effort has been made but as fast as the trash trees and brush are cut, more grows back. There was a fire yesterday producing acrid smoke; someone was attending the fire for a while but later left it burning unattended. Is there anyone responsible for this property? Someone must know which agency or person to contact. Thank you for anyone who can solve this problem.

There has been one man employed to clean this mess. He worked for several days and made a ton of progress. And now someone has again illegally dumped trash on this property in two different areas. I do not like living with rats. Can someone please call the correct person and make the owners of this property take action? Thank you.

After all this time and with the County not stepping in to clean up the mess, you can finally close this. Someone has purchased the property and is doing the clean-up.
