66th ave is the reason I need a new car. The whole stretch from Broad St. to 5th St is one big stretch of speed bumps amd strut killers. I have never seen a street in this condition ever before in my life. The most discouraging part about 66th Avenue between 5th st and Broad St is that the City Streets Department has paved the side streets in the area but have neglected to pave 66th avenue.
The ticket says "Updated 5/11/09 7:02am: The Streets Dept has received the request Updated 5/11/09 2:29pm: The Streets Department reported that the street is scheduled for future resurfacing based on budget priorities."
This is ridiculous! Where are my taxes going? Please name me one other busy street that's as bad as 66th in this section of our city. Our representative isn't doing anything; they only care about West Oak Lane. I'm taking pictures this week.
He/she might be interested in creating a "watch area" so they could follow comments like these as soon as they are posted.
In addition to posting photos and more of your specific concerns about the street, sending this link around to other neighbors who might also be concerned could be a good way to highlight the issue.

Any luck getting this resolved, Dan?
