Hi Judi - wanted to clarify the issue a bit. This issue is not with the sidewalk. The issue popped up only after the recent paving of Newark Avenue, seems the street has more crown than it used to and that has had an effect on its drainage.

Thank you for reporting an issue to the City of Jersey City. We will investigate. In order for housing code to send out an inspector, I would need an exact address.

217 is the biggest puddle, Same thing across the street.

This concrete ramp and gutter line will be raised and reconstructed so that positive drainage is obtained and the storm runoff is carried to the inlet. This work should be completed before the end of October. Thank you.

These ramps were reconstructed and the asphalt patching along the gutter line was designed to create positive drainage which will eliminate ponding issues. Thank you.
