Thank you for reaching out with your concern. Weed control in the playground sand has been addressed. All playgrounds in the City do meet the CAN/CSA Z614 “Children’s Playspaces and Equipment” standards. The Facility Maintenance Department will investigate if options are available that meet the CAN/CSA Z614 standard.
