There is a very large bush that is planted on this property which comes through the fence and blocks your sight for any on coming traffic. Several times a day there is a near miss, its only a matter of time before something tragic happens. Is there anything that can be done to have this bush either cut to a level that doesn't block you being able to see oncoming traffic or have it removed? There is a stop sign as you approach the intersection but its so far down that by the time you start to go you can't see what is coming at you. Every year it keeps getting larger and larger please do something about this.

This property is well kept and hedges or walls blocking the view around a corner is a common occurrence in many residential areas. I do agree that this intersection could use a stop sign on each corner. The near misses are a result of the speed from which people turn the corner because not every direction has a stop sign. Also one of those corner traffic mirrors would help as well. Drive safe everyone.

Yes they do keep it looking beautiful. We've tried to get a stop sign on each corner, and were told there isn't enough traffic, lol! I don't want to see the hedge removed but if you live in the area then you know why i'm complaining. I hear the screeching of tires all day long because someone is coming down Clarendon and they don't see someone coming up Massachusetts.

Wow, not enough traffic for a stop sign. That's funny. I do live nearby and understand exactly what you are referring to. I agree something should be done to make this intersection safer. I would hate to see a neighbor get a call from an official over this matter and create a tense relationship with everyone else in the neighborhood. I'm sure we've all had a passive aggressive neighbor at one time or another. Has anyone simply gone to speak to the residents of this home? Maybe a simple, friendly conversation could fix the situation.

The traffic has more than tripled within the last year alone, its now become the gateway to the Cove. Yes, I would not want to be on the receiving end of a visit like that as well, and yes, it is my understanding that neighbors have had conversations about this, not myself though, and as you can imagine it has gone no where. I am asking for helping because after almost getting hit head on yesterday, not the first time mind you, I'd had enough.

Stop signs at each corner should be added. It's not the brushes fault people drive 40 mph up and down this street. Can't tell you how many times I'm nearly t boned backing into my driveway from someone whipping around Clarendon.

With the warmer months upon us and the increased seasonal demand for access to the parks in the cove, I hope this issue will gain enough traction for the city to actually agree and place a stop sign before anyone gets injured.

Viewed 286 times and not a thing has happened. I watched 2 cars almost hit each other head on yesterday, is that what its going to take to get someone to at the very least go out and check this corner out.
