Didn't we used to have a rather friendly (to residents) old guy who trundled around town in a little Cushman cart, writing tickets for over-parking, expired license plates, and other stuff like this? Where did he go? Seems like there's been a big increase in all these non-moving, traffic crimes, and the various urban nuisances that go along with them, since he went away. Maybe we should increase Code Enforcement's budget and have them take over jobs like this that our very expensive Police Department doesn't have time for any more.

Vallejo would make SO MUCH MONEY if they had illegal parking enforcement!

I would totally vote for an increase to get some sort of control this town. Many other cities including Sacramento where I came from had people driving around in a Prius is and they were community volunteers that helped enforce neighborhood parking. Mind you the police still gave tickets it was not completely on community volunteers. I see a lot of vehicles sitting around at CSS maybe they could borrow one?

This is on the corner of Sacramento and Tennessee , just pass the vet office driveway. I've had a few close calls there too.
