I imagine that the owners of the business would love to have a lot of new signage, but that it's beyond their abilities at this time. I think they have enough trouble with Cross students shoplifting and passing fake money to them, not to mention random jerks stealing from them, I am loath to criticize their signage, though I agree it's an ugly thing to look at as it is.

@neighbor, Your comment 'Small businesses have such a difficult time in capitalistic systems' has little relevance to a business operating in the socialist systems of Connecticut and New Haven. However, I would be glad to help them with a sign if they would offer something in return....any ideas?
