The "Midtown Raleigh News" continues to litter the neighborhood with unsolicited and unwanted ad package. The paper flies everywhere, the bags fill with water and debris and this trash piles up everywhere. But they just keep dropping these all over the neighborhood.
I request that they be required to clean up all the trash they've left and stop dumping on people's property unless they have permission from the owners to leave their ad packet.

This is not an acceptable response.
The Constitution does not give the N&O the right o throw trash on my property without my permission. By the same logic I could throw trash on your home attached to a "Constitution-Protected" newsletter.
Please get them to pick up the trash they've left all over the neighborhood and require them to get permission before they throw more trash on private property.

City of Raleigh 3, your response is emotional and inappropriate, including erasing the votes people had already made for this issue.
This is a concern of the people who live here and should be allowed to stay open for others to comment and for action by the city.
I request that this be reviewed by another city official for a more reasonable response.

Pretty sad that Raleigh PD can't enforce a simple littering ordinance. I'll be throwing my trash on the steps of city hall with "media stories" enclosed (my dog should be able to write similar quality editorials).
I am also quite frustrated that there are probably hundreds of rotting sacks of paper pulp on each run I do through my neighborhood. Want to know who is out of town? Just look for the house that hasn't been able to clean up the mess.
