I hit a raised manhole while turning left onto Rice Street from High Street which caused my transmission to crack and my airbags to deploy which caused my windshield to shatter. My car is now considered wrecked thanks to Pottstown avoiding this known issue. A resident did state that she sees this happen often and must come to nearly a complete stop in order to safely pass the manhole. A man also drove by asking if I "hit that @#$% manhole he's complained about over 100 times." Please note that I've never been involved in a car accident and my car is now wrecked and not worth a penny due to this issue being avoided.
