This is the same pothole that I hit on my bicycle last year and reported (Issue ID:10198271). It resulted in an injury that resulted in surgery and a 6 month recovery period. The pothole was filled in soon after originally reported but then started sinking again. I suspect there is an underground water-related issue causing this pothole. Please investigate the source problem and fix.

The hole has been patched. Per Justin’s comment, let’s hope it’s a more permanent fix.
