The east end of Seaboard Road is EXCEEDINGLY dangerous as is evidenced by the numerous accidents that have occurred at 2977 Seaboard Rd. This past summer there were two accidents that resulted in extensive damage to property with both vehicles being total losses. Over the last 7 years, there have been at least 6 accidents to include a City of VB snow removal truck which also caused damage to property. Keep in mind, there is a school bus stop located exactly where the last two accidents occurred. It is only a matter of time before someone is hurt or dies. The speed limit on the majority of Seaboard Rd is 45 mph which is too high given the S-curve as you approach County Place. There is a yellow caution sign which indicates a safe speed of 35 mph, however very few people heed that guidance. I am requesting the road curve be assess for safety AND safety measures get put in place. The speed limit should be lowered, additional signage put in place, guard rail, or flashing lights. The City needs to improve this road hazard.
