City of Detroit 13808 midland street

Someone has dumped insulation on the front berm of this vacant lot and it is now covering a fire hydrant. This issue has been reported multiple times.

A neighbor keeps dumping on the north side of the street and not abiding by bulk pickup days or rules surrounding debris. This is not from the owners of the lots it is on!

THE RESIDENTS AT THIS LISTED ADDRESS IS HAVING SMELLY COMPOSE AT THE VACANT LOTS ALONG TEMPLE STREET AND LOOKS LIKE A HOT MESS. PLUS THEY ALSO DUMP AT THE OTHER END OF THEIR STREET ON THE VACANT LOT NEXT TO THE SCHOOL VARIOUS TYPES OF DEBRIS FOR THEIR FARM AND GARDEN AREAS

This is unacceptable! The black building on michigan, the two houses the same owners purchased behind the building on cicotte (two houses one lot) and the red house 4095 are dumping onto this open lot. For SEVEN YEARS we have done everything to have this issues addressed and the city WILL NOT take care of this lot- two of these parcels are owned by the city!!!!! As residents it is not our job to clean YOUR property. It is dangerous- there are used drug paraphernalia throughout the lot making cleanup a biological hazard that you the city are putting on the residents. Eva Torres has been contacted about this lot for years and has done NOTHING to help rectify the situation. The grass is now growing over the trash as we have told her it would. If nothing is done the media will be called out to discuss the blatant and intentional disregard for our neighborhood. We as a community are at the end of the rope here. Where do the mayor and Eva Torres live? I ask because they dont have to wake up every single day and come home every single day to a city that disrespects its residents in such a demeaning way. Would they like all of this trash on their yard and in their neighborhoods?!?! You have hundreds of residents VERY FURIOUS!!! We know the laws, we know what has not been done, we know it all. We have friends and family members working in city departments letting us know- point blank- what is going on down here planning wise and what youre doing to the residents by proxy. Detroit, you have some extremely intelligent individuals living in this area now and we know the system. If you keep ignoring us we will take action against the city.

There have been several accidents, in some cases, hit and runs, occurring at the stretch of Second St & Selden/Alexandrine/Willis.

This pile has been steadily growing in front of the empty lot for weeks. It was not picked up on bulk day last week, and I'm not convinced it will be in the future since it doesn't follow yard waste requirements from GFL. It's blocking the sidewalk.

The bike line headed West on Lafayette Street is usually blocked by cars using it as a turn lane. I ride my bike every day to work and I have to bike in the car lane or wait behind cars in the bike line who are turning right onto Chrysler. Despite road painting and a "share the road" sign, cars use the bike lane as a turn lane. Further down the road there are dividers in the bike lane, shielding bikers and blocking cars from entering. I would love to see these dividers added to this stretch of road to keep cars out of the bike lane.
