Parks Request ArquivadoCorner Of Pine St & Pine Alley New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham SquareThere is a pile of wood chips left over from a stump that was ground down last year, and the Parks
dept has yet to clean up the mess. I have called and left many on Rebecca's voice mail and I have not as of today received a returned call. Now if there is someone who can light a fire under her butt to get this job completed than do so. -
SNOW RELATED ArquivadoPine Alley New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham SquareWhy do we who pay high taxes have to call the Public Workers department so we can get this alley plowed. Up until a little while ago a neighbor was out there with his snow blower clearing a section from Pine St into the middle of the alley. This man is 85 years old or older.

Policing Issue ArquivadoPine St New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham SquareIn the last snow storm the Mayor announced that we all were to park on the even side of the street, but nothing was done to the ones who did not fallow the instruction. Why were they not tagged and towed??

SNOW RELATED ArquivadoPine Alley New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham SquareI spoke with someone at Public Works back in December and asked that when it snow could you please plow Pine Alley and it got plowed.
Now we have deep snow on the ground and pavement and there has been no sign of a plow.. There are 2 seniors in there 80's that have opened up the Pine St end with Snowblowers. This should not be, this is Public Works responsible not men who pay a good share of city taxes doing the job.
I just called the Mayors office and got put on Hold for longer than needed. -
Parks Request ArquivadoPine St Between Pine Alley & Clinton Ave New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham SquareThe Parks Dept. Cut down 3 trees in this section of Pine St back in July of 2016 and I was told by a supervisor of the Parks dept the the stumps would be ground down 2 months ago, well guess what it is now over 4 months since the trees have been removed, but there has been no equipment sent out here to remove the stumps. I guess maybe a letter needs to be sent to the Mayors office in regards to this problem.

It would be nice if the parks department could get there act together. These trees were cut down at the end of June and we are still waiting for these stumps to be removed.

I have called the parks department and I was told we were next, but that could be next year for all we know. -
Tree Trimming ArquivadoTop Of English Dr New Haven, Connecticut - East RockAt the Summit of East Rock Park the view of our city is blocked by an over growth of SHUMAC. I was standing near the spot where
the Viewing equipment is located and you can not see a panoramic of the city.
The parks dept hiders many people during the summer month to help maintain our parks. It would be nice seeing them do some work and not be sitting in the shade of the trees doing nothing. -
Tree Trimming ArquivadoCorner Of Osborn St. & Whalley Ave New Haven, Connecticut - EdgewoodThe branches on a tree at the corner of Osborn St. & Whalley Ave Needs to be trimmed. They are obstructing the view of traffic coming up Whalley ave.
