Maintenance needed at Garden Lane Park. Tree branches down, and grass needs cutting prior to Halloween and our neighborhood gathering.

Garden Lane at Peavine Creek is lacking any protective fencing at the steep drop off from the street into the creek. This presents a danger to the many children who live on the street, especially to the children who play in the city park adjacent to the creek. Please install fencing on both sides of the street at the drop off, like the fencing that was installed at the creek on Lamont Drive.

Garden Lane Park at 190 Garden Lane has no signage indicating that it is a city park. As a result, there is a lack of care of this resource by people who use it. The park needs an official city park sign, a "clean up after your dog" sign, and a dog waste station. A trash can would also be helpful. A "Children at Play" sign at the street may slow down drivers who are not aware there is a park. A crosswalk in front of the park would also enhance the safety of children. More frequent maintenance would be appreciated.

Since curb cuts were installed at the corner of Garden Lane and Clairemont Ave almost two years ago, there is no longer a "curb" to discourage drivers from cutting the corner as they turn right onto Garden. The result is an ever-deepening hole that is constantly filled with water. This is a school bus stop as well as a MARTA stop. With mosquito season imminent and the threat of the Zika virus, it is time to fix this problem.
