Since curb cuts were installed at the corner of Garden Lane and Clairemont Ave almost two years ago, there is no longer a "curb" to discourage drivers from cutting the corner as they turn right onto Garden. The result is an ever-deepening hole that is constantly filled with water. This is a school bus stop as well as a MARTA stop. With mosquito season imminent and the threat of the Zika virus, it is time to fix this problem.

Clairemont Avenue is a State Route which the Georgia Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining the road and right of way.
I have contacted GDOT (404.631.1990) and reported the issue regarding Clairemont Avenue at Garden Lane.

GDOT repairs the road, curbs and sidewalks on Clairemont Avenue. The problem is with the curb, it’s to low and drivers continue to driver over it.
I did notified GDOT of the problem.
Thank you for your feedback.
