Description

OK- the City did leaf pickup unexpectedly around Thanksgiving, before the trees were done. Then folks got ALL of their leaves IN the street (not on the curb between the sidewalk and the street like it is supposed to be). With all the rain and the cars, the piles of leaves have turned into a mash that blocks storm water runoff. Then people drive over it and even if your own curb area is clean, the cars move the leaf mash into the front of all the houses. Can the City PLEASE send the trucks around (with a team of shovels, because this stuff can't be sucked up), or maybe issue some kind of citation to tell people they can't put all that stuff into the road? The roads are busy (see: Fairview, Scales by the school) and narrow enough as it is. It is a mess over here with no end in sight, because people think the City is going to magically clean it.
