This is an active design project under the Stormwater Drainage Petition Program. We hope to complete design sometime late January/early February and proceed with construction thereafter after we have successfully hired a contractor to do this job along with a few other similar drainage projects. The design solution to this problem lies entirely on upstream private property and is limited by the fact that the downstream receiving system is on South Saunders St. which is not maintained by the City but by NC DOT.
