it is bad enough that some residents and commuters have seemingly forgotten that this is a park with lots of pedestrian and bike activity. but this type of behavior should definitely be addressed with the company.
it should be simple: if contractors want to work in new haven, they have to act responsibly or they can work elsewhere!

What is that truck doing up there in the first place? I can't believe it's appropriate to drive a commercial vehicle up that road; is it even legal?

I agree with Juli that this is a pedestrian rich environment which is currently not treated as one. Speed limits within the park need to be significantly lowered -- it is a very rare situation when driving any faster than 15-20mph within this park can be considered "responsible" driving, especially when it rains. Any city drivers caught exceeding the posted speeds should be disciplined.

(speed limit is 15 mph there, but I agree, it shouldn't be higher than that)
