My pug was attacked twice on Lake Dr.by pit bull typed dog that lives at 2407 Anderson Dr. Dog got away from owner and owner said she did not w want to use mussel or choke collar in future. Stickers and deep wound.
This is a public safety issue. The dog may get loose again and attack a person. Seeclickfix is good for traffic lights, garbage, graffiti etc...problems that the city can solve but do not need immediate attention. Call the police, the non-emergency number is 919-996-3335. If animal control needs to be involved, they will let them know and will keep a record of the problem
Animal Control Officers responded to 2407 Anderson Drive and spoke with the dog owner. He was strongly warned of the leash violation. Animal Control Unit will continue to monitor this situation. The complainant is encouraged to call the unit for further complaints, 919-831-6311.
Thank you to Animal Control Officers for following up quickly. The dog owner was back walking on our street and told my husband ya'll had come to his house and spoken to vet. Our dog is still healing, hoping for full recovery.
