White caravan still parked with Wong visitor permit since November 2019. Hasn't moved once so violating visitor permit regs along with wrong permit for area, also parked in bike line. Numberous complaints to city with no results. Flagged down a traffic Dept enforcement officer on Wednesday and was told car would be booted. No boot yet! Who do you need to know in Cambridge to get this addressed? I've lived in this city all my life, 40 plus years and this side stepping and avoidance to address this issue is ridiculous. A police officer was also on site when the traffic Dept person was there an assured the police officer this would be addressed! If I have a friend come by and drop off something they get a ticket but this car is magically ignored!?

Car illegally park for weeks in a row, with little to no action from the authorities.
Streets are not for illegal long term car storage. Please address both cases in a timely manner.

To add insult to injury the area 4 visitor permit used to park in area 3 expired and it's still parked with no movement. Any other person would have had their car towed. This is amazing and embarassing - I used to work at the traffic department too! LOL. Come by 59 Hampshire St. and take a look. Many of the neighbors have complained but all their complaints go unaddressed. This person who owns this vehicle mist be a VIP!

Car still here, neighbor tracked down another traffic enforcer and added a ticket. Ticket number 2 since November 2019 with expired visitor permit for wrong area parked in bike lane.

Vehicle is still here and the owner came by today and threw all the tickets on the ground in front of 59 Hampshire St so the person is also a litter bug! This car now has so many tickets it should be towed but still sitting there! How come the rest of us have to pay to obtain a parking permit to park in Cambridge but this person is allowed to use an outdated 2019 visitor parking pass that is for the wrong area, never move the car, and be parked in the bike lane still allowed to park on the street?! Someone please explain?

Quick update, the owner of the vehicle has been issued a special citywide permit from 2/25 to 3/3/2020.

..with an inspection sticker that expired February 2019 - it just keeps on getting better - how this person is granted a special permit from the traffic department with all these issues is beyond me while the rest of us have to follow the rules!!

I think Cambridge residents are owed an explanation. Given the fact that the car is parked in a bike lane, has an expired inspection sticker, and the owner appears to be a scofflaw with regard to parking tickets, we should know what it is about this car - and who owns it - that allows them to have a "special" city-wide permit.
