Yes, Charles, they absolutely would and we clearly need them on problem corners like 1st and Erie and 4th and Erie, locations of many accidents due to illegally parked cars on corners obstructing the view of intersections.
Erie itself is madness. People speed up the street. I've been beeped at while crossing in the crosswalks when there's been plenty of time to make it to the other side. I've even had people speed up while I cross to scare me on purpose. There are kids in neighborhoods for pete's sake.
