Does anyone pay any attention to the complaints listed on this web site. Or, is this for the city's general entertainment?
I know Meriden is a pretty boring city, but, this "complaint center" just makes things more frustrating.
P.S. I understand that the police monitor this web site. Why do they do that? For a good laugh? Oh, I can understand that.

I have news for you. I have already filed two complaints with CL&P about the same street lights being burned out - to no avail.
I even asked a cop sitting in his patrol car on the street in question where to file a complaint. He said that even if you do file a complaint, don't expect them to fix it any time soon. So, what do you do with that?
This city and "seeclickfix.com" is one big joke. Everyone is in "bed" with everyone else, and nobody gives a sh*t!

The street light I complained about has been repaired by CL&P. It took several months for them to complete the repair because, as they told me over the phone, they had to order a part. There was an "underground" problem that, for some reason, the part that was needed was not in their regular inventory.
But, finally, the two street lights and the flood light that illuminated the adjacent parking lot has been fixed.
